Spiritual guru Siyaram Baba, known for his unwavering devotion to Lord Hanuman and the Narmada River, passed away at the age of 95 on the auspicious day of Mokshada Ekadashi and Gita Jayanti. Baba took his last breath at 6:10 AM on Wednesday at his ashram in Bhattayan Buzurg, located on the banks of the Narmada River. His final rites will be conducted at 4:00 PM near the ashram.

Devotees Gather for Siyaram Baba’s Last Darshan

The news of Siyaram Baba’s passing has drawn a large number of devotees to his ashram to pay their last respects. Baba had been ailing for the past 10 days due to pneumonia. Despite initial treatment at a private hospital in Sanawad, Baba insisted on returning to his ashram, where he received care from district hospital doctors.

Born in 1933 in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, Siyaram Baba embarked on his spiritual journey at the age of 17. He devoted his life to spiritual practices, studying under his guru, and traveling to sacred pilgrimage sites. In 1962, he arrived at Bhattayan, where he performed intense meditation under a tree and later became known as Siyaram Baba, after breaking his silence with the chant of "Siyaram."
