The Legend of Ekadanta

The name Ekadanta has a profound backstory rooted in Hindu scriptures. It is said that when Lord Parashurama approached Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha stopped him from entering. In anger, Parashurama struck Ganesha with his axe, which led to the breaking of one of Ganesha's tusks. From then on, he came to be known as Ekadanta — the One-Tusked Lord.
