The Sri Sri Rukmini Dwarkadhish Temple is popularly known as ISKCON Dwarka, is gearing up for its annual Janmashtami celebrations from August 15 to 17, 2025. Organisers expect over ten lakh devotees to join the festivities at the West Delhi temple, making it one of the largest Janmashtami events in Delhi NCR. The grand programme will feature devotional music (bhajan), cultural performances and traditional rituals with the celebrations culminating in the birth anniversary of ISKCON founder A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada.

Main Janmashtami Rituals (August 16)

The highlight of the celebration will be Janmashtami Day on August 16. The day will begin with Mangala Arti at dawn, followed by Kalash Abhishekam and Maha Abhishekam. At midnight devotees will gather for the Midnight Maha Arti, marking the divine appearance of Lord Krishna.
