In a post on X, Elon Musk has called for America to 'liberate Britain' from their 'tyrannical government'.

On Monday, the billionaire posted a poll on X with a caption "America should liberate the people of Britain from their tyrannical government." A total of 387,810 votes were registered on the poll, with 65.8% people voting Yes, whereas 34.2% voting No.

This post comes after Musk said that Nigel Farage should stand down Reform UK leader as he "doesn't have what it takes" to lead the party.

In response to Musk's comment, Nigel in a post on X said: "Well, this is a surprise! Elon is a remarkable individual but on this I am afraid I disagree. My view remains that Tommy Robinson is not right for Reform and I never sell out my principles."

Musk has been a vocal supporter of Farage and his party. In December, he posted on X that Britain 'absolutely' needs Reform UK. However, the rift between them emerged over Musk's support for Robinson, real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, who is currently serving an 18-month prison sentence for contempt of court.
