Donald Trump targeted his predecessor Joe Biden over his last-minute pardons in his first television interview since taking oath as US President on January 20. He also downplayed all concerns regarding the Chinese government using TikTok to 'spy young people'.

The 78-year-old leader spoke to Fox News on a wide range of issues including January his return to the White House, his predecessor Joe Biden's last-minute pardons, illegal immigration, US TikTok ban, January 6 Capitol rioters and FBI records on JFK assassination among others.

TikTok ban in US

The Republican President said he was aware of security concerns about the platform, which has an estimated 170 million US users, but thought they were blown out of proportion. Suggesting that the platform is not as great of a security threat as its critics make it sound, the Republican President said, "You're dealing with a lot of young people. So is that important for China to be ... spying like young people, young kids watching crazy videos".
