The US legislature, Congress, has two chambers: the House of Representatives and the Senate. There are 34 Senate seats up for US presidential election in 2024 in which both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are vying for crucial seats.

Voters in 33 states will cast ballots to elect one of their two US senators, and voters in Nebraska will vote on both of the Senate seats. Democrats currently hold a narrow majority in the Senate. Republicans are trying to win control of the chamber, a switch that would require them to switch only two seats while holding all of their seats.
