US President Joe Biden will deliver remarks on Sunday at 1.30 pm (1730 GMT) after his election rival Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt, the White House said.

Biden, 81, will speak in the Roosevelt Room of the White House, a day after he gave a brief statement near his beach retreat in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, it said in updated daily guidance.
