Woman mistakes headache and vomitting symptoms to be normal, turns out she has brain tumour

A 21-year-old woman from Sydney, Australia, who had recently been on an Europe trip, was diagnosed with Stage 3 malignant brain tumour after suffering from symptoms of nausea and also experiencing headache and vomitting.

Jenaya Shaw was travelling with a friend, who said that they had to return home a week before their scheduled departure to Australia after she was diagnosed with brain tumour. Since returning to Sydney, Shaw has had three brain surgeries in the last three months. Additionally, the woman has lost her vision in the right eye.

One of Shaw's friends has setup a GoFundMe campaign in a bid to reduce the financial burdens for her medical treatment and surgeries. The campaign organiser, Chelsea Ashe, said that Shaw's future dreams, at this point in time, remained shattered. "Having undergone three invasive brain surgeries, Jenaya has had her youth and all the dreams and ambitions that come with it taken away from her," she said.

Another of Shaw's friends, Christina Argi, urged others to contribute to the fundraiser campaign and described Shaw as "the kindest and most amazing person I know". The campaign, whose target is to reach $35,000, has garnered in excess of $28000 in donations, so far.
