Kharif moong production is expected to increase by 25.23% from normal of 1.07 MMT to 1.35 MMT in the kharif 2016/17 season. It is higher by 10.66% from the set target of 1.22 MMT. Now Moong prices are trading below the Minimum support prices of Rs. 5225 per quintals. With increasing arrival pressure, prices may go down further.By: Skymetweather.com
