As per reports, this year Rabi sowing is down by 13% than the same time of last year. Till date, Rice has been sown in an area of 19.36 lakh hectares as compared to 22.45 lakh hectares sown at the same time last year. Normal in season area is 43.58 lakh hectares under rabi rice cultivation in the country.By: Skymetweather.com
