Stand-up comedian Sundeep Sharma took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a disturbing encounter that he had while he was with fellow comedian Saurabh Pandey. While returning after their show in Noida, the duo came across an armed person who was obstructing the road. Sharma posted the details of the terrifying encounter and tagged the Uttar Pradesh Police as well.
The comic informed that the incident happened in Noida’s sector 104. He wrote that a man stood in the middle of the dark road holding a gun in his hand. The unidentified man smiled and signalled them to stop. Suddenly an SUV also stopped right behind them.
“The man approached the car, I aggressively shouted while holding my mobile phone, which I thought was also a potential self-defense weapon in the situation, he looked at us went to the side of the road and signalled us to go, all this while smiling. We left from there alive,” he wrote further.
The incident happened in the early hours of Monday according to Sharma. Tagging the UP Police, he wrote, “Please take note of this and take action, probably you can save some life/lives. We did not open the car windows and the car doors were locked.”
Since being shared, the post has garnered a lot of attention. Social media users were concerned and expressed their opinions in the comments section.
