Watch: Around 35 snakes found at house in Assam, rescued later

Imagine going about your daily routine when you suddenly find your bathroom teeming with snakes. This was the reality for a resident of Nagaon district, Assam, where an astonishing 35 snakes were discovered in their home.

News agency ANI shared a jaw-dropping video of the slithery intruders. The post stated, "Around 35 snakes were found in a house in the Kaliabor area of Assam's Nagaon district. The snakes were recovered by Sanjib Deka, an animal lover."

The video began with a close-up shot of several snakes coiled under a large rock. The next scene showed the serpents collected in a bucket. As the clip progressed, it captured the snakes emerging from under the rock and slithering out into the open.

Sanjib Deka, the rescuer, recounted his experience to ANI: "The house owner informed me about the presence of snakes, and I reached the spot immediately. I found numerous snakes crawling around. I recovered around 35 snakes from a newly constructed toilet in the house. I later released them in the Joisagar Dalani area."
