According to Rose, the Prime Minister wanted to meet with her as a young entrepreneur in the tech industry. During their meeting, Sunak revealed that data shows that businesses run by women make more money than those run by men. He also expressed the belief that if women continue to start businesses at the current rate, they would be contributing billions to the UK economy.
“I was invited to go to 10 Downing Street, as the Prime Minster wanted to meet me, a young entrepreneur within tech. He said data shows that women ran businesses make more money than male, and if women continue starting businesses at the rate they are- they would be contributing billions to the UK economy,” she wrote.
“They had a target of 40% FTSE 100 businesses to be ran or founded by women, and they’ve hit it. We should be proud how this has moved forward. I am currently now running two businesses within tech, after starting at 25 years old, have expanding globally and given 75 young women jobs in tech also. A proud moment to be recognized,” Rose added and with the tweet shared a photo of her posing outside the PM’s residence.
