"It's a privilege to support Praggnanandhaa as he continues to win laurels in the world of chess and make India proud. His success is an inspiration to countless young Indians to believe that nothing is more gratifying than standing on the podium to celebrate our nation's greatness."

"Praggnanandhaa represents what India can and will be all about. I wish him all the very best. Jai Hind," Adani wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday.
In the summit clash, Praggnanandhaa lost to Magnus Carlsen 1.5-0.5 in the tiebreaks. The Norwegian beat the teenager after their two classical games ended in draws.

Praggnanandhaa had entered the final after defeating two out of the top three rated players in the world and his performance at the World Cup helped him become only the second Indian after Viswanathan Anand to  clinch a spot in the Candidates tournament.
