His name has become synonyms with the apex body of Indian exporters, FIEO. Ramu Deora who has been elected President of FIEO for the third time has been tirelessly and fearlessly been championing the cause of Indian exporters since 1987. Thanks to his crusading efforts the government has recognized the role of Indian exporters in the country's overall growth story.
And in recognition of his contribution to the export trade the commerce ministry has conferred on Deora the Lifetime Achievement Award.
