Global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas accompanied by her husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie, made a stop at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya during her recent visit to India.
In pictures shared by news agency ANI and paparazzi accounts, Chopra is seen with her family surrounded by temple officials. She wore a saree, while Nick Jonas donned an embroidered kurta and pajama.
Videos of the family arriving at Ayodhya airport were also shared on social media.
The family sought blessings at the temple and offered prayers. This is Chopra’s first visit to India since the pran prathistha ceremony at the Ayodhya temple.
Speculations suggest that the actor’s visit coincides with the Holi festivities, marking Malti Marie's second sojourn to her mother's homeland.
The family's outing comes hot on the heels of a dinner gathering hosted by filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, where Chopra and Jonas were spotted amidst a frenzy of paparazzi.
Chopra’s meeting with Farhan Akhtar comes amidst lingering ambiguity surrounding the much-anticipated project “Jee Le Zaraa”, announced in 2021, an all-female travel-themed film featuring Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif. Chopra’s last Hindi film was “The Sky is Pink.”
