As Parliament reconvenes on Wednesday for the Winter Session, a stormy day is expected over Telangana. The Congress faces opposition not from the BJP alone, but from its own MPs as well.
"The Congress has struck a deal with Jagan Mohan Reddy and the TRS for political gains. We will not let this happen," Congress MP from Vijayawada Lagadapati Rajagopal said.

"Our agitation has led to a realisation that the Centre is mishandling the issue. We are appealing, begging to the President and to all parties not to pass this Bill," TDP MLA Payyavula Keshav said.
The opposition BJP has targeted the Congress over the sharp divisions within the party on the Bill.
"It's the government's own Chief Minister who has rejected the Bill," Sushma Swaraj said referring to Andhra Pradesh CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, who is in Delhi and expected to hold protests at Jantar Mantar and a march to Rashtrapati Bhawan against the Bill.
The Union Cabinet is expected to clear the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill 2013 on Thursday. The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly had rejected it in January. However, the Centre has said it will push ahead with the Bill.
The ruling Congress reiterated its stand on Tuesday. It's Andhra Pradesh in-charge Digvijaya Singh said, "The rest of the parties may back out on the decision on Telangana, the Congress won't."
