Why BJP loss in Bihar may lead to pick up in reforms pace

With the battle for Bihar reaching its climax and the high–voltage campaign coming to an end, both the rival alliances -- BJP-led NDA and the JD(U)-led Grand Alliance claim they will be the winners.

Manini Chatterjee, Editor of Telegraph and Gautam Trivedi, CEO Religare Capital Markets in an interview to CNBC-TV18 shared their views on impact of the outcome on the economy and markets.

Chatterjee does not think BJP has upper hand as what thought before going in for polls. However, both think that if BJP were to lose then they would be humbled and maybe the reform process would take centre stage.
