For many in India, the festival of Holi is a time for fun. Everything becomes a little more colourful, and in most places, water flows liberally. However in Maharashtra's Latur district, which celebrates "Rang Panchami" a few days after Holi, there will likely be no colour this year, because there is barely enough water to get by as it is. As part of CNBC-TV18's special series, What's Ailing Rural India, Alexander Mathew travels to Latur, and finds out that there may not even be a dry Holi this year.
