Inside Chhattisgarh: What it means to live in a naxal-hit region

CNBC- TV18's Archana Shukla traveled to the heart of naxal-hit district of Bastar in Chhattisgarh to find what it is like to live there.

Imagine living in a place which has no roads leading to it, no power, bare minimum education facilities and most of all a threat to life every single day.

In a special series, Inside Chhattisgarh, CNBC- TV18's Archana Shukla travelled to one such village, 30 kilometres from the town of Jagdalpur, in the heart of naxal-hit district of Bastar in Chhattisgarh to find what it is like to live there.

Supposed to be a tourist resort to promote tourism in this region, as Kanger national park is just in the vicinity, this place was destroyed by naxals two years ago and now houses a CRPF base camp.Watch video for more...
