Karti Chidambaram, son of former finance minister P Chidambaram, is facing heat from Enforcement Directorate after the agency summoned two directors from his company in Aircel Maxis scam.
ED is probing the financial transaction of Karti with Aircel just before the company was given a approval from the Foreign Investment Promotion Board.The agency is investigating on why shares were allotted to a company of Karti Chidambaram at a much lower rate than the book value.
