Dukaan co-founder Subhash Choudhary (left) had put forth a challenge after an user on X (formerly Twitter) had said he wished to work at the company.

An advice given to many a youngster these days is to reduce his/her time spent on various social media platforms and instead use the time to do something more useful.

But sometimes, the powerful side to social media can come out on display as was seen recently when a man got a job at Bengaluru startup Dukaan after replying to a query by one of the co-founders Subhash Choudhary.

In an "Ask my Anything" session conducted by Chaudhary on X (formerly Twitter) on September 23, a user told him that he wished to join the frontend team at Dukaan and was willing to work for free for them.

Chaudhary then gave him and other users a challenge and shared his email address to send the response.
The correct answer to Chaudhary's challenge was given by a man named Ayush, who replied on Friday, saying that he had joined the frontend engineering team at Dukaan and was "super pumped" to have received the opportunity.
In one of his replies, Ayush shared how he had successfully passed Chaudhary's challenge and got the job at the firm.
The man's post saw several other comments, many of whom congratulated him for getting the job.

"Great work man! Congratulations," one user wrote.
