Income Tax raids at popular biryani joint Meghana Foods in Bengaluru

Income Tax raids are being conducted at the outlets of popular Bengaluru chain Meghana Foods in early hours of March 19, Tuesday.

Raids are being carried out at Koramangala, Jayanagar and Indiranagar outlets by Karnataka and Goa IT teams on suspicion of purported tax evasion.

Headquartered in Hyderabad and set up in Bengaluru first in 2006, Meghana Foods’ biryani features as a must-try in every Bengaluru visitors’ list.

Owned by Padma Atluri and Rambabu Mandava, the chain specializing in Andhra cuisine has over the years grown to become a beloved destination for biryani lovers in the city.
