5 cool features of Honor X9b 5G

HTech has just launched the follow up to the Honor 90, a smartphone under Rs 30,000 from 2023. The HONOR X9b lands under Rs 25,000 (after an instant discount) price band and comes with a whole bunch of cool features.

If you're prone to dropping your phone often, you might want to know about its anti-drop display with airbag technology - the company claims these can keep the phone safe even if it falls up to 1.5 meters, or nearly 5 feet.

Ultra-Bounce anti-drop display: Chinese phone-laptops-wearable devices maker HONOR claims this is an industry first, offering 360 degree whole-device protection. The device’s three-level protection system ensures comprehensive drop resistance for the screen, frame, and internal components. The HONOR X9b comes with an innovative airbag technology with shock-absorbing structure around the phone that provides impressive resistance to drops up to 1.5 metres. The phone introduces Ultra-Bounce Technology, providing both drop and splash resistance, validated by a 15-second submersion test and IP53 water and dust resistance certification.

Immersive display: The HONOR X9b flaunts a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display (1200x2652 pixel resolution) with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1200 nits peak brightness, and an impressive 92.8% screen-to-body ratio.  The display features support for 1.5K resolution (429PPI), 1.07 billion colours and 100% DCI-P3 to deliver smooth visuals.
