HP, one of the world's top computer developers, has announced new additions to its OMEN portfolio at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) at Las Vegas. The California-headquartered firm also confirmed its partnership with gaming gear maker HyperX.
The company unveiled the OMEN Transcend 14-inch Gaming Laptop with an IMAX-certified 2.8K VRR OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is also the world's first laptop with a lattice-less sky printed RGB keyboard.
The laptop can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor and up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU. HP says it has worked hard on the thermals for the device and the redesigned chassis uses a vapor chamber, "for direct heat dissipation through rear vents".
HP has also updated the OMEN Transcend 16.1-inch gaming laptop with up to a 2.5K OLED display with a refresh rate of 240Hz. The Victus 16.1-inch laptop and the OMEN Transcend 16.1-inch have been updated with Intel's Core i7 HX processors.
