Amazon planning new messaging app called Anytime

Online shopping giant Amazon is working on a standalone messaging application called Anytime, according to a report by AFTV News.

Amazon has begun surveying customers to understand what feature of messaging services are most important to them. While it is unclear as to what the service is, one customer who was surveyed by the company said that it was a ready product.

The company is likely to tweak the "ready product" according to the survey results.

According to the report, the application is a all-in-one feature rich in services which focuses on messaging, voice and video calls, photo sharing using @mentions and has filters and masks for photos and videos.
