The upcoming elections for 56 Rajya Sabha seats, spanning across 15 states, are scheduled to take place on February 27. Fifty members are set to retire on April 2, with an additional six retiring on the following day.

Breakdown of Vacant MP Seats by State

Uttar Pradesh leads with the highest number of vacancies, totaling 10 seats, followed by Maharashtra and Bihar, each with six. Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal have five vacancies each, while Karnataka and Gujarat have four apiece. Odisha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Rajasthan each have three vacancies. Additionally, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and Chhattisgarh each have one vacancy.
