National Lok Adalat 2025: Settle pending Delhi traffic challans, other disputes on March 8

The Delhi State Legal Services Authority along with the Delhi Traffic Police has announced National Lok Adalat 2025, a platform to settle pending traffic fines. The Lok Adalat, first of the year 2025, is an alternative redressal system where disputes or cases pending in court can be settled amicably.

The traffic challans and notices of all types of vehicles (including commercial vehicles) which are shown as pending on Delhi Traffic Police portal till November 30, 2024, can be settled in the Lok Adalat.

Ajay Chaudhry, Special Commissioner (Traffic) of Delhi Police urged vehicle owners to settle their pending challans in the Lok Adalat. “I urge the vehicle owners to come forward and settle their pending Delhi Traffic Police challans including spot challans, challans for violation of GRAP norms (pollution fines), notices, etc at the National Lok Adalat which is being held on March 8, 2025 from 10AM to 4PM. The vehicle owners should not miss this opportunity,” he said while speaking to ET Wealth Online.
