Reliance Industries Limited Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani paid visits to prominent temples in Nathdwara, Guruvayur, and Tirumala over the weekend, offering prayers and announcing significant donations for community and healthcare initiatives.
In Nathdwara, Ambani attended the Bhog Aarti Darshan of Lord Shrinathji and received blessings from Guru Shri Vishal Bawa Saheb.
During the visit, he announced the construction of a modern ‘Yatri Evam Varishth Seva Sadan’ (Pilgrim and Senior Citizen Service Centre) at the Shri Nathdwara Temple, aimed at providing safe and comfortable accommodation for elderly Vaishnavas and visiting devotees.
The facility will feature over 100 rooms, a 24-hour medical unit with nursing and physiotherapy services, a satsang and pravachan hall, and a traditional dining area following the Thaal-Prasad system of the Pushtimarg tradition. The project, estimated at over Rs 50 crore, is expected to be completed within the next three years.
Ambani also donated Rs 15 crore to the temple to support the initiative.
In Kerala, Ambani visited the Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple in Thrissur district, where he offered prayers and handed over a cheque of Rs 15 crore to the Guruvayur Devaswom as the first instalment for the proposed Devaswom Multi-Speciality Hospital. He was received at Sree Krishna College grounds by Devaswom officials and later offered special darshan to devotees, participating in rituals including lighting ghee lamps and making offerings at the temple flagpost.
Earlier in the day, Ambani also visited the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala, where he offered prayers during the Suprabhata Seva. Vedic scholars performed Veda Ashirvachanam (Vedic blessings) for him, and he was presented with theertha prasadam and a portrait of Lord Venkateswara as tokens of divine blessings.
