Addressing a public meeting in Bettiah, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Bihar will soon be known as the powerhouse of food processing, tourism, textiles, and technology.

Attacking the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress for 'jungle raj', he said where pistols rule, dreams of youth die.

“People in Bettiah have witnessed the worst of RJD-Congress’ ‘jungle raj’. These parties handed over this region to dacoits and goons. ‘Jahaan katte aur rangdaari ka raj hota hai, wahan yuvaon ke sapne dum tod dete hain’," PM Modi said.

Giving hopes to the people of assured development of Bihar, PM Modi said, “I have seen that one rally after another, people have broken all records. The first phase of polling has also created new records... From Bettiah, I want to tell everyone - the day is not far when Bihar will be known as the powerhouse of food processing, tourism, textiles, and technology.
