2G case: Delhi HC admits CBI's plea against acquittal of A Raja, Kanimozhi and others

A Raja was acquitted in the 2G case, along with others

The Delhi high court on Friday admitted the CBI's appeal challenging the acquittal of former telecom minister A Raja, DMK leader Kanimozhi and UPA-era government officials in the 2G spectrum allocation case.

A special court had acquitted all the accused in December 2017.

The CBI had challenged the order of special court before the high court in 2018.

The agency had told the high court that there were glaring illegalities in the trial court's judgment acquitting all the accused in the case.
