Business Wire IndiaMeeting sensitize all its stakeholders the importance of maintaining updated records on a real time basis. India was ranked 133rd in trading across border by World Bank last year. Taking a clue from the factors that resulted in the ranking, JNPT initiated efforts towards standardising information across all stakeholders so that progress done last one year gets reflected in the ranking. The meeting also reviewed impact related to ease of doing business at the ground level which was initiated two years back by JNPT. Further steps related to further improve effectiveness towards ease of doing business was discussed during the meeting.
 

Emphasising on the need, Shri Neeraj Bansal, IRS, Deputy Chairman, JNPT said, “In the last one year, we have successfully address concern of all stakeholders connected with the industry. Today our export cycle time has reduced from 88 hrs to 65 hrs and Dwell time from 9 days to 7 days. We are committed to better this performance further in the future.”
 
The stakeholders also spoken on the occasion and suggested various measures towards making ease of business more effective.
