About Dr. Rajashree Krishnaswamy
Dr. Rajashree Krishnaswamy is a scientist turned edupreneur. She has an M.S. in Biochemistry from Michigan State University, U.S.A, and a PhD in Biotechnology from Bharathiar University. Catalyze Center for Learning is her entrepreneurial venture, where she is using the flipped class room approach to personalize online tutoring/edutech. Class room learning cannot cater to the individual needs of a student. In our present education system, the same teacher teaches the same set of students in the same way this method does not cater to the individual pedagogical needs of students and leads to lacunae in learning. Her pioneering efforts in the edutech/online tutoring industry were conceptualized in 2008 with this vision.
She is also a writer and an Indian classical music exponent and lives in Chennai with her husband and daughter.
