Meerut (UP), Jan 1 (PTI) In yet another case of honour killing, a youth was killed and his girlfriend left battling for her life after the girl's brother allegedly shot at the couple today, police said. The incident took place in Incholi area near the town here. While the youth died at the spot, the girl was admitted in a serious condition at a nearby hospital, they said. The deceased has been identified as Devendra, a resident of Maithana village. The family members of the girl were said to be unhappy with her relationship. The accused has been arrested in connection with the incident, they added.
