Uber, Aaveg get Delhi government nod to run buses in Delhi

Ride hailing platforms Uber and Aaveg have reportedly got a licence from the Delhi transport department to operate "premium bus service" in the city.

Aaveg is an app-based shuttle service in Delhi, Gurugram & Noida.

A Times of India report said Uber would start the services soon. Aaveg would begun operations after the Lok Sabha elections, its CEO Vivek Laroia told the daily.

The buses will be air conditioned and have facilities like WiFi, GPS, CCTV, panic button and reclining seats.
