Triumph looks to ride into smaller cities to maintain sales growth

The company, which today launched an all new version of its superbike Tiger 1200 XCX in the country priced at Rs 17 lakh, aims to launch around 6-7 models by June this year.

British superbike maker Triumph Motorcycles today said it expects to maintain its double digits sales growth in India on the back of new product launches and network expansion, especially in tier-II cities.

The company, which today launched an all new version of its superbike Tiger 1200 XCX in the country priced at Rs 17 lakh, aims to launch around 6-7 models by June this year.

The company follows July-June financial year.

"Our retail sales grew last year by 10 per cent. This year too we are looking for a same kind of performance," Triumph Motorcycles India Managing Director Vimal Sumbly told PTI.
