Ambareesh Baliga, independent market expert told CNBC-TV18, "You can see a bit of outperformance for the time being from the realty space, you could see a bit from the private sector banking space and not the public sector undertaking (PSU). So these are the pockets where you could see a bit of outperformance and pharmaceuticals to a certain extent."
"Realty stocks are trading buys but not investment buys because fundamentally it is the affordable housing which should do well in India even going ahead. If you are talking of the next four-five years then that is going to be the profitable area and you hardly have any listed players in that space. Listed players are mostly in the premium space where there is huge inventory build up and balance sheets are in bad position. So there is no way I can recommend from an investment angle. You surely have those pockets like Brigade Enterprises, Sobha, Puravankara Projects and Oberoi Realty to a certain extent," he said.
