Gaurang Shah, VP at Geojit BNP Paribas Financial Services told CNBC-TV18, "There is a lot of anticipation on Swachh Bharat campaign that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has initiated but the problem is there are lots of players both from the listed arena as well as unlisted entities. Second, we do not know who will get how much, when and in what form since there are number of players and whether it is going to be coming through the listed entities or unlisted entity route. Therefore, betting prematurely on this campaign and want to invest in sanitaryware stocks, I do not think it is a great idea but if you have to, if you are compulsive enough and you want to choose something then Kajaria Ceramics and HSIL are two stocks that you can possibly pick."
At 15:00 hrs Kajaria Ceramics was quoting at Rs 602.60, up Rs 13.75, or 2.34 percent on the BSE.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 690.05 and 52-week low Rs 305.70 on 29 September, 2014 and 17 January, 2014, respectively.
