Dhirendra Tiwari, Head of Research at Antique Institutional Equities told CNBC-TV18, "Our opinion on oil and gas space has been positive for sometime because irrespective of the crude prices cooling off, the sector has seen some amount of reforms already. So I would say that if there has been some progress on the diesel price increases etc, this is definitely positive for the sector."
"If one looks at the refining companies, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) has been our preferred pick for quite some time and it continues to be so. So I think selectively one can definitely look at good companies which can benefit because of this trend," he added.
