P Phani Sekhar of Karvy Stock Broking told CNBC-TV18, "One saw that with liberalisation in the insurance sector, ICICI Bank must have been one of the biggest beneficiaries but investors should view this more as an opportunity rather than any sign of worry. At around 1.7 - 1.8 times it still is one of the cheapest large private sector banks available. So, I will not be worried as a long term investor."

The company's trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 19.25 per share. (Mar, 2015). The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 16.22. The latest book value of the company is Rs 138.53 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 2.25. The dividend yield of the company was 1.6 percent.
