Sharmila Joshi of sharmilajoshi.com told CNBC-TV18, "Motherson Sumi Systems used to be a stock that I used to like a fair bit about couple of years back when we did see a good sort of rally bidding up in a lot of these midcap names. Then you had a whole Volkswagen issue hit Motherson Sumi because overseas they do, one of their subsidiaries does supply to Volkswagen. But I think now that is also an issue that they should be getting out of and I think enough time has passed and you have to allow such events also some amount of time before a stock can recover from that."
"Precisely as I said that has always been their model where they have made acquisitions and they have grown and overall I think if you look at the kind of business plan that the company has and the vision that they had till 2020, so assuming even if it were to get a little delayed given what has happened over these last 4-5 years, I had been fairly positive on this stock. So if you do have that two year kind of horizon in mind I think definitely stay put in Motherson Sumi," she added.
