Vishal Jajoo of Nirmal Bang Securities told CNBC-TV18, "Grasim Industries - at least there have been some positive announcements with regards to the Viscose Staple Fibre (VSF) business. The numbers on the surface look good. Secondly the holding which they have because Grasim is now more of a holding company and the stake that they have in UltraTech, I think things on the surface look positive for the cements sector and Grasim being one of the largest as an excellent balance sheet that is more important in the present scenario. I think one should continue to hold on to the stock."
At 15:16 hrs Grasim Industries was quoting at Rs 3,436.25, up Rs 56.35, or 1.67 percent.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 3,755 and 52-week low Rs 2,431.70 on 09 June, 2014 and 20 February, 2014, respectively.
