HDFC Bank said on Monday that the company's board will meet on Saturday, 19 October 2024 to consider Q2 FY25 financial results. "We wish to inform you that a meeting of the Board of Directors of HDFC Bank Limited will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 to inter-alia consider the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results of the Bank for the quarter and half year ending September 30, 2024," India's largest lender said in a notice to stock exchanges.
Further, it said that the trading window for dealing in HDFC Bank securities will remain closed from Tuesday, September 24, 2024 to Monday, October 21, 2024 (both days inclusive) for the designated employees, directors, etc, according to SEBI regulations.
The index heavyweight distributed a dividend of Rs 19.5 per share to its shareholders on 10 May 2024.
HDFC bank shares rose 15.10 percent in the last six months as per BSE data. In 2024 so far, the stock has declined 1.71 percent since January. In the last three years, the stock moved higher by 7.17 percent.
Private sector lender reported a 35.3 percent rise in its profit after tax to Rs 16,174.75 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year. It's consolidated net profit grew 33.17 percent to Rs 16,474.85 crore in the June 2024 quarter. The bank had posted a post-tax net profit of Rs 12,370 crore on a consolidated basis in the year-ago period, it said in a regulatory filing. On a sequential basis, HDFC Bank's net profit fell 2.1 percent.
