Daljeet Singh Kohli, Head-Research at India Nivesh Securities told CNBC-TV18, "Last many years railway stocks have been always a disappointing. Normally railway stocks you will see are one week prior to the Railway Budget and one week after the Budget that is it, that is when they perform after that they don’t perform.""Unfortunately lot of announcements are done but they have not executed properly, so you don’t see that getting converted into cash flows for the companies. That is why we tend to avoid taking call specifically from Railway Budget or on the railway stocks.""If we have to play this theme we can always play this theme through infrastructure plays, through transmission like if railways has to work level then with the kind of electrification happening transmission will obviously be well. So, ABB India, Siemens, Alstom T&D India all these companies will fall into that bracket. There we have a positive view on all of them," he said.
