VK Sharma of HDFC Securities told CNBC-TV18, "Good amount of open interest was added yesterday in DHFL, almost 15 percent. The stock has been doing well and this is one area where investors can safely make money if they hold in for a year. However, there is a trading call. I am suggesting buying 450 Call at around Rs 12, today it has come down to Rs 120 you can buy it with stop loss at Rs 8 and hope to sell it at Rs 20. It is essential that in the new settlement you better be sure at what rates you want to enter."
At 11:18 hrs Dewan Housing Finance Corporation was quoting at Rs 446.80, up Rs 10.70, or 2.45 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 447.55 and an intraday low of Rs 432.55.
