Rajesh Agarwal, Director-Research at Eastern Financiers told CNBC-TV18, "Axis Bank and SBI have run up quite a lot. If you look at SBI, with around 16000 branches it is the largest PSU bank with a good CASA profile and any revival in the economic scenario, this bank will be the first beneficiary because NPA recovery will start and that will boost the earnings. I think it is already running at its highest band valuation. Any correction to around Rs 280-290 will be a good entry point is SBI."

"In Axis Bank the numbers reported were quite strong, CASA is quite strong, NPAs are better managable and I think Axis Bank is a better bet than SBI at this point in time although SBI can be bought at around Rs 280-290," he said.
