Anish Damania bullish on Gujarat Gas, GSPL; neutral on BPCL

Anish Damania, head of institutional equities at IDFC Securities told CNBC-TV18, "Within the oil & gas, the gas sector is something which we are looking at very positively; both Gujarat Gas Company and Gujarat State Petronet Limited (GSPL). So, these two companies where we are fairly bullish on. We have a neutral stance on Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) but that is one area where there could be some bullishness."

"Over the last few quarters, most of the earnings of these oil marketing companies (OMCs) have got upgraded both by consensus as well as our analysts and that is something as a trend which I believe would continue. So, if that happens then the strength remains there in these stocks as well," he said.
