ITC looks strong, says Hemant Thukral

ITC is looking strong, says Hemant Thukral of SBI Capital Securities.

Thukral told CNBC-TV18, "Largecaps have moved yesterday, majority is on the short covering side and delivery based buying. So Bharti again from Rs 385 has manage to see some short covering coming in; out of all the stocks I think ITC remains the strongest because that stock has not gone below Rs 195-198 so that remains the strongest part."

He further added, "But good point to see yesterday was both the capital goods majors also starting seeing some short covering, so L&T around Rs 1,600 levels has seen lot of shorts, every time you reach that level people are covering their shorts.
