Avoid metal stocks: Sukhani

Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com is of the view that one should avoid metal stocks.

Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, “We have been downbeat on most of the metal stocks. The exception was Sterlite Industries which now seems to be disappointing. Metals has been underperforming and there are no chart patterns that have been suggesting we should go long, in fact in some of the stocks the idea was that there could be a short position. The problem is that if the market is up as it is so far then taking a short position is going against the trend so that professional traders should understand but the best way is to avoid metals all together.”
