Merrill Lynch buys 12.46 lakh shares of StanChart PLC

On May 28, 2013 Macquarie Bank bought 15,32,953 equity shares of Standard Chartered PLC at Rs 116 on the NSE.

However, Merrill Lynch Capital Markets Espana S.A. SVB bought 12,46,962 shares at Rs 116 a piece.
In the previous trading session, the share closed at Rs 116.00, down Rs 0.05, or 0.04 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 116 and an intraday low of Rs 115.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 129.20 and 52-week low Rs 91.40 on 06 March, 2013 and 08 August, 2012, respectively. Currently, it is trading 10.22 percent below its 52-week high and 26.91 percent above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 2,784 crore.
